Bank Holiday Shale Triple – August 2017

August saw a Bank Holiday shale triple, with Mildenhall, Stoke & Belle Vue meetings running.

Our first winner of the weekend was #225 Tony Blackburn, taking a heat win at Stoke on Sunday in his still relatively new car. Tony seems to be going from strength to strength and we can see him continuing his good run over the remaining meetings.

Monday saw the as tradition meeting at Belle Vue taking place. The Consi was taken by #560 Luke Wrench, who is predominately a tarmac driver, but showing great form on the loose stuff.

Belle Vue Final was taken by #728 Carl Pilkington. Carl is one of our consistent drivers who goes racing to enjoy himself and its always nice to see him get great results, especially a final win, which takes him back up to blue grade.

This weekend sees a last minute fixture at Kings Lynn, with several TMR drivers attending, including #369 Mick Ford & 318 Leyton O’Riley. Leyton will be getting some last minute practice in for the World Final, after qualifying at Cowdenbeath.
